The Client provides:
  1. Base Shapefiles:
    • Parcels
    • Streets (highways/ arterials)
    • City Boundary
    • Contours
    • Major bodies of water
  2. Assessor data
  3. Current copy of General Plan
GIS Central delivers:
  1. PDFs of maps
  2. Shapefiles that were created for the General Plan maps
  3. Online hosting of data during development process
  4. Hard copies
    Note: If the client has no shapefiles PVNET is pleased to bid on their creation
Maintenance:
  1. Store and maintain data for future updates of General Plan
  2. Work with Client to tune and keep up to date data for future projects

The Client provides:

VISUALIZATION AND ANALYSIS OF GEOGRAPHIC DATA

Data received can be graphically represented on maps which can be distributed as hard copies, or up loaded on the internet as an interactive map using an Internet Mapping Server (ArcIMS). We can also analyze data for spatial relationships and other relevant information using GIS.

Additional information can be stored in GIS database.

GIS DATABASE CREATION FOR OPTIMUM ASSET MANAGEMENT

Use GIS to create a database of shapefiles that contain information on location and other important data that can be displayed graphically.

The database can also be searched for specific details, such as street address or area of land. In addition the database with geographically located entries can be easily queried and updated as the client’s needs changes.
